MAC - I received an error while trying to reinstall FLEX.

Please try one of these steps to troubleshoot your issues:

Please make sure you have updated your MAC to the latest version, macOS 12.0 Monterey.  You may need to reinstall after updating. If you still need assistance, please call Customer Service at 800-728-2722 between 8 am and 5 pm Central Time. 

1. COMPLETE UNINSTALL / REINSTALL (complete step 2 first if you want to save templates):

Click anywhere on the desktop and find the <go> in the top left bar. Click on that and find <go to folder> and click that.

1. 1. Type in ~/.ACIFLEX and click go.
   2. This will bring you to a folder. Please delete the entire .ACIFLEX folder.
   3. Close the window.

Click anywhere on the desktop and find the <go> in the top left bar. Click on that and find <go to folder> and click that.

1. Type in ~/.roescache and click go.
2. Delete the entire .roescache folder.
3. Close the window.

Click anywhere on the desktop and find the <go> in the top left bar. Click on that and find <go to folder> and click that.

1. Type in ~/.ROESEngineCache and click go.
2. Delete the entire .ROESEngineCache folder.
3. Close window.

Then go to your applications and uninstall the app.

2. CLEARING CACHES AND KEEPING FAVORITES:

1. Click anywhere on the desktop and find the <go> in the top left bar. Click on that and find <go to folder> and click that.
2. Type in ~/.ACIFLEX and click go.
3. This will bring you to a folder.
4. Go inside the .ACIFLEX folder and find the file mytemplates.xml.enc and move it to your Desktop
5. Go back outside the folder and delete the entire .ACIFLEX folder.
6. Close the window.
7. When you open your software again, the .ACIFLEX folder will repopulate. You can then drag mytemplates.xml.enc back into the .ACIFLEX folder and the next time you open ACI Flex, you will see your favorites again.

3. COMPLETELY CLEARING CACHES:

*if you follow these steps it will DELETE any saved favorites you have.

1. Click anywhere on the desktop and find the <go> in the top left bar. Click on that and find <go to folder> and click that.
2. Type in ~/.ACIFLEX and click go.
3. This will bring you to a folder. Please delete the entire .ACIFLEX folder.
4. Close the window.

Download the software and reinstall.
