If you're having trouble getting your ACI Flex software to work on your Mac, we do offer a Java version. This ACI Flex software is dependent on Java to operate correctly. If your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the latest version of Java, you may experience technical difficulties
Please note that Java and Apple continue to make changes to their software, and these changes may cause issues with your ACI Flex ordering software.
If you are having issues with your software getting to a certain point in the download process and then stalling, here are a few things that ACI recommends:
If your Mac is running OS X version 10.6.8 or earlier:
- Java is no longer supported on Mac OS 10.6.8 or earlier. If your Mac is running an older version of Mac OS X, you may experience technical difficulties or be unable to run the ACI Flex software until you update to a newer version of Mac OS X.
If you are running Mac OS X version 10.7 or later:
- Delete any desktop FLEX icons
- Make sure your Mac has the most current version of Java. To check your version, or update if necessary, visit the Java website by clicking here. Follow the steps below to update to the current version of Java
- Before attempting to re-launch, clear your Java caches, and clear out the program properties. Instructions are located here.
- Once updated, navigate to acilab.com, hover over Order Now and select ACI Flex. Scroll down to Problems Launching? and download the file there, or you can click here. Follow the prompts to download the ACI Flex software.
