Follow the instructions below if you are having problems launching ACI FLEX
1. On your keyboard, hold down the Windows key and press E to open the File Explorer
2. In the File Explorer address bar type %userprofile% then hit ENTER on your keyboard
3. Find the folder called .ACIFlex
4. If you do not have any saved orders, favorites, or packages you need to keep and it is OK to set the program back to factory reset, you can delete the entire .ACIFlex folder and skip to step 7. Otherwise proceed to step 5
5. If you do have orders, favorites or packages that you need to keep, open the .ACIFlex folder and delete ONLY these following files:
- ACIFlex.properties
- customer.xml
6. Navigate out of the .ACIFlex folder back to the %userprofile% folder you were in before
7. Find the folder called .roescache and delete this entire folder (even if there are other lab folders inside this is just a software image cache and will re-download at launch for ANY ROES launch)
8. In File Explorer type %programdata% into the address bar and hit ENTER
9. Find and delete the folder called SWRoes
10. Try relaunching ACI Flex
Further instructions to completely uninstall ACI Flex (windows)
1. Complete steps for clearing properties above (windows) making sure to delete the entire .ACIFlex folder - if you have orders you need to save, you can instead rename the folder to OLD.ACIFlex
2. Navigate to Add or Remove Programs
3. In the list of installed programs, find ACI Flex and uninstall it
4. Attempt reinstalling ACI Flex from the software page on acilab.com
