This article addresses a common issue where ACI Flex orders come in corrupted and need to be resubmitted.
While order corruption during the transfer process can be caused by many different things, consistent order corruption (i.e. a large percentage of the orders you submit come through to us corrupt) is generally caused by the HDD (hard disk drive) you store your images on being heavily fragmented. In layman's terms, the storage drive is not well organized. This happens overtime as you move/delete/rearrange files on said drive.
To fix this issue, you will need to defragment the drive/s on the system/s you are sending us orders from. What this does is reorganize the files so that your computer has an easier time finding things.
Note: This does NOT apply to SSDs (solid state drives) only HHDs (hard disk drive) - it also only applies to Window's computers as Mac's OS automatically manages file placement

Steps to defragging your HHD:
What to do before defragging your computer:
- Log in as an administrator
- Make sure the hard disk has at least 15% free space
- Exit other programs, including background programs
- Turn off anti-virus and anti-spyware programs
To defrag your computer, you can use the Disk Defragmenter tool in Windows:
- Open the Start menu
- In the Search bar type "defrag"
- Select Defragment and Optimize Drives
- Select the drive you want to defragment
- Click Optimize
Depending on the size of the drive you are defragging, this can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
