Set up connection details

Select New Connection

Fill in the information:

Example:

Host/Server: ftp.acilab.com

Protocol: FTP – File Transfer Protocol

User: Studio John

Password: 12345

Username is provided to studio from Customer Service via Tech Department. This is typically their studio name & it is Case sensitive. Password for ACI customers is the customer number.

Once connected you will see under filename your anything you have in your FTP with ACI, if Empty it means nothing has been uploaded.

**Note: If you try to login & fail 3 times your IP address will be blocked for 30 min. and you will have to retry later.

Uploading files

1. Select the Upload folder from the toolbar.

   

    

2. A new window will pop up called Open, this will allow you to navigate your computer to locate the files/folders to upload & click Choose:

Be sure when uploading to have a main folder called the job name or order number and put all your files in that folder so they can be easily located.

3. The Transfer window will open for you to see the upload progress:

Downloading files

1. Once connected to FTP under the filename in the FTP window, right click on the folder you need to download and choose one of the three download options: Download, Download As…, or Download To…

   

    

2. The Transfers Window will open and you will see the folder downloading. In the Transfer window on the left side you will see a Blue Arrow. Upward Arrow means Upload, Downward Arrow means Download.

   

    

3. Once the download is complete, you can click on the download to highlight it in blue and in the upper right corner select the option Open. This will open the location your download was saved to for you to access the files.
