Fine Art Process

ACI not only offers Fine Art printing, but we offer a Fine Art process. We use the best Fine Art Paper in the industry, and our staff is highly educated and trained in this process. Why do we do all of this? Because high-quality Fine Art Prints are more than equipment and paper, it’s about the people you trust to produce your Fine Art printing.

White Glove Treatment:

ACI highly recommends white glove treatment when handling Fine Art Prints. Unlike Photographic Paper that typically has a protective finish, our Fine Art Paper finish was created to purely convey the beauty of your work. Because of this, these prints must be handled with special care to prevent damage. Handling Fine Art Prints without gloves can result in hard-to-remove fingerprints, fingernail marks, and due to it’s water-soluble properties, damage to the print itself from the natural moisture and oils on your skin. We recommend one pair of gloves per order as a minimum.

Along with the white gloves, we strongly recommend mounting the Fine Art Paper to our Sintra mounting. Without mounting, the paper will not lay flat and does bow. You can also add any of ACI’s framing options to your Fine Art print as well. Click here to see the framing catalogs.

Canson Infinity Arches Aquarelle Rag

A 100% RAG matte paper with a watercolor look. It is the heaviest texture of the Canson paper options. A premium crystal clear bag is included with each size ordered and an unbuffered acid free translucent interleaving is placed between prints of orders with multiple copies.

Canson Infinity Arches Velin

A 100% RAG medium texture matte paper. A premium crystal clear bag is included with each size ordered and an unbuffered acid free translucent interleaving is placed between prints of orders with multiple copies.

Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique

A completely smooth paper type with a photo semi-gloss look. A premium crystal clear bag is included with each size ordered and an unbuffered acid free translucent interleaving is placed between prints of orders with multiple copies.

Canson Infinity Rag Photographique

A 100% RAG smooth matte paper with almost no texture. A premium crystal clear bag is included with each size ordered and an unbuffered acid free translucent interleaving is placed between prints of orders with multiple copies.

Hanemühle Torchon

A 100% RAG with a texture similar to that of actual watercolor paper.
