How do I order Color Correction or Corrective Artwork?

ACI adjusts JPEG images for color and density according to industry standards for skin tones.

The following additional services can be requested in the Special Instructions:

• Brightness and density adjustments
• Black-and-white conversions or copies
• Saturation or contrast adjustments

Please note: Color correction is applied to the entire image and may affect background colors.

Standard retouching services include:

• Removing glass glare
• Removing facial shine
• Removing stray hairs from background only
• Cropping and straightening
• Sharpening and noise reduction

If you need a service that is not listed, select Other and provide detailed instructions.

Custom Color Correction

• Small orders (1–14 images): $1.47 per image
• Large orders (15 or more images): $20.48 per quarter hour

Color-correction pricing will not appear in your cart during checkout. Charges are applied when your order is billed.

Corrective Artwork

Corrective artwork is billed at $20.48 per quarter hour.

Standard Retouching

Approval requirement: Customer approval is required for corrective artwork totaling more than $40. Customer Service will contact you with a quote before proceeding.

Adding color correction to a group order does not add additional production time to your order. Corrective artwork may add additional time depending on the request.

1. Log in to FLEX.
2. From the home page, select Start Ordering in the upper-right corner.
3. Open the Catalogs drop-down menu in the upper-left corner.
4. Select Transfer Images to ACI.
5. Drag and drop the image that needs artwork into the center of the page.
6. Under Options on the right, select Corrective Artwork – Other.
7. In the Artwork Instructions box, describe the requested changes in detail.
8. Select Add to Cart.
9. To add more images, upload them individually and select Add to Cart after each one, or select and upload all the images at the same time.
10. After all images have been added, select View Cart in the upper-right corner.
11. Choose either WeTransfer or FTP as the method for receiving your completed images.
12. Select Color Correction.
13. Enter reference text for the order.
14. Enter your initials.
15. Select Send Order.
