ACI’s preferred color profile space for printing images is sRGB. This color space is ideal to help manage color between different printing devices and to ensure that we can get the best color on the multitude of products that we produce. However, if products are ordered with images that are tagged with other color profile spaces, most commonly Adobe 1998, the FLEX ROES software will respect embedded color profiles saved in images.
At the time images are printed, they are converted to sRGB. If images are submitted that are not tagged or do not have an embedded color profile, our software will assume that these images are in the sRGB color space and will print accordingly.
This may cause a color shift from what you are seeing on your computer, versus the printed copy.
We do not check orders prior to production.
To CHECK what profile your image is in:
Open your image in photoshop. Next Click "Edit" > "Assign Profile". If you toggle between "Working RGB" and "Profile" at the bottom, you may see the image shift color. Hit "Cancel". You will need to convert the image to the correct profile FIRST.
To COVERT your images to working sRGB:
Now, to CONVERT
- Edit > Convert to profile.
- Destination space should be SrGB IEC61966-2.1
- Engine should be Adobe (ACE)
- Intent should be Relative Colorimetric
- Both check boxes below should be checked.
- Then Click "OK".
