How do I order Color Correction or Corrective Artwork?

1. What Does Color Correction Include?

At ACI we adjust JPEG images for color and density following the Industry Standard for Skin Tones. The following additional services can be applied upon request in special instructions:

  • Brightness and Density
  • Black and white conversion or copies
  • Saturation or Contrast Adjustments

2. What Corrective Artwork Can you do?

Standard Retouching Services include:

  • Remove Glass Glare
  • Remove Facial Shine
  • Remove Stray Hairs
  • Cropping and straightening
  • Sharpening and noise reduction
  • You can add other corrective artwork needed by selecting "Other" and include your instructions.
 

3. How Much Does it Cost?

Custom Color Correction is for a small order (1-14) Images is $1.20 per image.  Large order (15 or more files) $17.25 per quarter hour.  Price will not be reflected in your cart at checkout.  Color Correction charges are applied at the time of billing.  Color correction can be ordered in the checkout screen:

Corrective Artwork is billed at $17.25 per quarter hour.

* Customer approval is required on all corrective artwork over $40.  Customer Service will contact you with a quote. 

4. What are the Turnaround Times? 

Color Correction on a group order does not add additional time to your order.

5. What if I have a particular style I want matched?

Simply create a free account, share your editing style with us by sending us a reference print.  Contact CS for more information on submitting a reference print.

6. How to order corrective artwork Only (no prints)

  1. Log into FLEX
  2. If you are on the home page go to the top right where it says start ordering
  3. On the top left select the box that is the drop down for catalogs
  4. Choose and click on Transfer images to ACI
  5. Drop in the image that needs artwork into the middle
  6. On the right hand side under options mark corrective artwork – other
  7. Fill out the artwork instructions in the box under artwork instructions on what is needed
  8. Hit add to cart
  9. Then you can either drop the images for color correction in one at a time and hit add to cart after each of them or you can select all 37 at the same time and drop them in at the same time to get them added to the cart.
  10. Once they are all in the cart go to view cart on the top right
  11. In the cart you can select wetransfer or FTP for how we get the images back to you
  12. Select color correction
  13. Put in a reference text
  14. Initial
  15. Send order
