Client Remakes and Reorders requests are an unavoidable and mostly unwelcomed part of Volume Photography. Using ACI's systems software, OPS has created a fast and easy workflow for placing remake and/or reorders for you and your clients. The instructions below will show you how with a few clicks of your mouse you can place a remake or reorder order through OPS.
Getting Started
Login to your accounts Option page and go to the project requiring a Re-Make or Re-Order. Now Click on the Project's Re-Order button, which is the next to last button on the project line.
Next in the Add a Re-Order or Re-Make Window, go to the Select Subject Line and Click on the Drop Down Arrow link at the end of the line.
After the Select a subject window opens, navigate down to the name of the individual you need to place a re-order / re-make for.
After you make your Subject Name selection, go to the Select Image Window and click on the Drop Down Arrow. Now select the file name of your subject and a thumbnail image of the file will open automatically.
Next navigate down to the Select Item Window and Click on it's Drop Down Arrow.
After Clicking on the Select and Item Drop Down Arrow, the Select an Item product window will open where you can navigate to the Item(s) you need to order for your client. Please note only one item can be selected at a time, if you need more than one item for a client, Simple Click on the Add and Item Button at the bottom of the page and repeat the add an item process.
(Note: All your products and packages can be found in the Add an Item window, including the packages your offer. All packages and custom items are at the very bottom of the window.)
Additional Options such as Cropping, Retouching, Personalization, (if your product offers it) and Other Options are available for ordering.
At the bottom of the Re-Order Window you will find the Additional Item button if your re-order requires more items.
At the bottom of your re-order screen there's an Add Another Image button, which will allow you to place an additional re-order for another subject. (Must be from the same project.)
Note: If you have re-orders from another project, you must navigate back to your project's list and Click on the Re-Order button once again so you can locate the subject(s) you need from that project.
After you have finished placing your re-order items, click on the Continue Button to complete your re-order.
After clicking on the Continue button, your Order Options window will open where you will need to review and answer a few questions about your remake, reprint request.
Please note it's important for you to answer all the questions on this page so your request will travel immediately into the lab for printing.
Please pay special attention to the 4rd line item below - Re-Order or Re-Make. If your reprint request is chargeable, you do not need to make any changes. However if you are asking for a no charge reprint for any reason, you must click on the Re-Order button. If your request is for an obvious reason, such as missing or damaged prints your request will probably go straight to production. However if your reprint request isn't clear or in our opinion will probably yield the same results, ACI customer service will contact you about your request to make sure we can correct the problem you're requesting us to fix.
ACI ReMakes/ReOrders Shipping Policy: All remakes and reorders are shipped ground service directly to your studio at No Charge. Next Day and Drop Ship options are also available at an additional cost.
